झटपट चिकन बिर्याणी – How To Make Chicken Biryani In Pressure Cooker – Quick Biryani Recipe – Smita

Everyone loves biryani. But sometimes we feel
lazy to make it. Because it’s a very
lengthy process. But today I’m going to
show you a biryani recipe. Which we can quickly make
in our pressure cooker. For the chicken biryani I
have taken 1 kg of chicken. To that I’m adding in
1 tbsp of ginger paste. And 1 tbsp of garlic paste. 1 tbsp of biryani masala. 1 tsp of garam masala. 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder. Biryani tastes better when it’s spicy so
I’m adding in 2 tbsp of red chilli powder. 1 tsp cumin seed powder. 1 tbsp coriander powder. Salt. 2 cups of fried onions. 2 cups of yogurt. 1/4 cup of finely
chopped mint leaves. And 1/2 cup of finely
chopped coriander leaves. I’m going to mix this well and
allow it to be marinated for 2 hours. You can marinate
this overnight also. It will be more tasty. We will keep this in the fridge
for 2 hours for marination. 2 hours are up and we will
begin cooking this chicken. Here I have kept
the cooker to heat. And I will heat
4 tbsp of oil in it. And 1 tbsp of ghee
(Clarified Butter). The ghee has melted. And in it I will add in
2 bay leaves and 1 cinnamon. And 1/2 caraway and I
will let it sizzle for 2 mins. And to that I will add in
5 green chillies slit lengthwise. And I will sauté it for 2 mins. Our tempering is nicely sizzled. Now we will add in the marinated
chicken and sauté it well. I’m turning the flame on high. We have sautéed the
chicken nicely for 5 mins. And it has also
released it’s oil. We will now cover it with the
lid and let it cook for 10 mins. 10 mins are up. We will turn off the flame and
wait for the cooker to cool down. The cooker has cooled down. We have cooked the
chicken 3/4 only. Because we have to add
in rice and let it cook again. It has nicely released all it’s oil. Here I have 3 fried potatoes. I have cut them into pieces. Let’s add them in. Everyone loves
potatoes in biryani. Here I had soaked 600 grams
of basmati rice for 30 mins. I have half cooked them. And we will top it on this gravy. We are adding just half of it. We will add 1 tbsp
of ghee on top of it. Here I have some
saffron soaked in milk. Add that on top of it. It gives a nice colour and a fragrance too. Some finely chopped mint leaves. Some finely chopped coriander leaves. Some fried onions. And we will add in the rest
of the rice again on top. Add add in some ghee. Saffron milk. Finely chopped mint leaves. Finely chopped coriander leaves. Some fried onions. And again we will close
the cooker with the lid. And cook it for 20 to 25
mins on medium to low flame. Since we are making this biryani in cooker. We won’t have much trouble,
and this will also cook quickly. We have let this biryani cook
for 20 mins on medium flame. I will turn off the flame and wait
for the cooker to cool down. The cooker has cooled down. Let’s open and see. The rice has nicely cooked. We will take it out
in a serving bowl. The colour of the saffron has
also come out nicely. Our biryani is ready to be served. You can serve this
with raita (salad). You have seen how easy
