मसाले भात कुकर मध्ये | How to make Masale Bhat in Pressure Cooker | Masala Bhat Recipe

Hello, I am Madhura and welcome to MadhurasRecipe Marathi We are making masalebhat today. We have already seen one recipe of masalebhat. But today let’s see quick cooker masalebhat. If you get bored of cooking some day, then this is a quick and tasty masalebhat recipe. This is a delicious recipe for gueats. Let’s see how to make masalebhat. We are making masalebhat in cooker. I have heated up 2 tps oil in cooker. Add 1 tbsp cumin seeds in tadka first. Let it splutter. Raw tadka does not taste good at all. Add whole spices. 2 pieces of cinnamon, 2-3 green cardamom, 3-4 peppercorns and 3-4 cloves. These are whole spices. Add 2-3 bay leaves. Fry for just about a minute. Add 1 cup finely chopped onion. You also can add sliced onion if you want. Fry onion until it gets light golden colour. Onion has begun to turn light golden. Add 1 tsp green chili garlic paste. I have blended 4 garlic cloves and 1 green chili in blender. Fry for about a minute. Add spices now. Add 1 tsp goda masala, 1 tbsp corinader powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp red chili powder. Mix well and fry for a minute. After frying masala well add 1/2 cup chopped tomato. No need to cook tomato. Just mix well. Let’s add veggies. I have 1 potato and a few florets of cauliflower. I have peeled potato and cut it into small pieces. Cauliflower is along with it. You can add veggies of your choice like french beans, carrot, bringle. Mix veggies. Add green peas. After frying veggies nicely add 1 cup rice. Take 1 cup basamati rice, wash and soak for about 30 minutes. Mix well. After mixing rice well with veggies, add water. I have soaked 1 cup rice for 30 minutes. So add 1 1/2 cup water in it. If rice is not soaked then add 2 cups water. Add salt to taste, cashew nuts and mix well. You can taste the water once after adding salt. After mixing well, add 2-3 tsp ghee. Ghee gives nice texture and flavour to masalebhat. You can skip ghee if you don’t like. Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 2 whistels. I have cookd the rice until 2 whistles. There is no pressure in cooker. Do not keep the rice as it is after it is cooked. Remove the lid when the pressure is released from it. Loosen the rice with fork. You can see. The rice is nice and separated. After loosning the rice, you can close the lid and keep it. Masalebhat tastes nice as it is. You also can serve this with raita. I just love masalebhat.
