Hi friends,Welcome to NEETHA’S TASTELAND, I am NEETHA RAJEEV. Let’s make Ambalappuzha Paal Payasam today. This is very simple recipe. This is the special recipe for VISHU. Happy Vishu to all of you from my family & me. Let’s see how to make paal payasam. Wash the rice only once,do not soak the rice. Take a large pressure cooker to make this payasam. Add milk to it, Add rice to the milk, Add 1 cup of water, Add 1 cup of sugar. Allow the milk to heat up, Stir it well. Our milk is heated up now, Close the pressure cooker with lid. Keep the flame low, Cook this in low flame for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn off the flame. Do not open the lid,keep it for 1 hour. Wait for 1 hour. After 1 hour open the lid and serve the payasam in to a serving bowl. No need to add cardamom and cashew nuts in to this payasam.
