✅ TOP 5: Best Non Stick Pan 2019

Are you looking for the best non stick pan?
In this video we’ll break down the top non stick pans available whilst comparing them
for price versus performance. Before we get started with our video detailing
the best non stick pans on the market, we have included links in the description for
each product mentioned, so make sure you check those out to see which one is in your budget
range. Starting off at number 1 we have the Scanpan
Classic Fry Pan. These Scanpans are made using 100% recycled
materials to cut the effect on the environment, but that certainly doesn’t hinder their performance.
These pans are sturdy and well made with so many benefits that you’ll be mad you didn’t
make the switch earlier. With proper care, you probably won’t need another, but you’ll
end up investing in several – just because they’re such a pleasure to work with.
When it comes to handles the patented spring-lock handles are affixed without rivets or springs.
Not only does this make for easier cleaning, but the handles remain cool during stove-top
use. The extra-thick pressure-cast aluminum base
makes for a sturdy pan, though it does mean it performs more like cast-iron, taking a
little longer to heat than lighter pans. Is it PFOA-free? Yes, which we love.
The Scanpan Green Tek non-stick application process remains free of PFOAs at every stage.
The patented coating itself is 10x more resistant than stainless steel, making it possible to
use metal utensils (which is a real bonus). So what makes it so strong? It’s the ceramic-titanium
particles fired into each pan. Each Scanpan is safe and super resilient.
Is it Dishwasher safe? Yep, but we bet you’ll be fine washing by hand.
You should know this is going to be very easy to clean as there aren’t any tricky rivets
on the inside of the pan. Scanpan has also made this remarkably easy for lazy cleaners,
as it’s truly scratch resistant and also dishwasher safe.
That said, most users prefer to extend the life of their pans with hand washing – and
some report simply wiping out whatever food is left in the pan; it’s that easy.
The company stands by its limited lifetime warranty, though ScanPans hold up for years
and years. The 8″ skillet sells for $60, while the 14¼”
version costs $125. Yes, these are among the pricier options, but users find they last
forever and are truly value-for-money. At number 2 we have the Tramontina Professional
Restaurant Fry Pan. The thick cast-aluminum helps the pan to heat
evenly every single time; this pan is definitely one of the best for even cooking.
It’s also NSF-certified for safety (along with being PFOA-free). We’ve looked specifically
at the 10″ size and the sheer number of recommendations it has, but there are lots of sizes. Just
be sure to read the manual before you get to work. Is it oven safe? Yes, up to 400°F.
Is it Induction safe? Nope, but are you surprised? The stainless steel handle is long and comfortable
to hold. It remains cool to the touch through the silicon cover which can be removed if
you want to stick this in the oven. There’s also a hole in the handle for hanging.
The heavy-gauge, commercial-grade cast aluminum lends itself to the perfect weight and balance
of this pan. Is it PFOA-free? Of course.
This has a reinforced Eclipse™ industrial-strength non-stick coating that should remain scratch-free
for at least 3 years, as long as you treat it right. And truly, even sticky foods just
slide around in the pan. Is it Dishwasher safe? Sure is!
Food and grease literally just wipes out of the pan when you’re done with it. Users find
it ridiculously easy to clean. Although the advertising says dishwasher-safe, you really
shouldn’t – to preserve the life of your pan. What is the warranty like? This pan comes
with a Lifetime warranty. It’s less than $25 for the standard 10″ pan,
which is an amazing price. But, if you want the super-large 14″, you’ll pay just over
$40 which is still a super deal. At number 3 we have the Anolon Advanced Covered
Sauté Pan. Whether you want to make a small stew or use
this as designed for sautéing vegetables, you’re going to get versatility, quality,
and even heating. It’s deep and heavy and you can even get away
with using metal utensils. The pour spouts and helper handle make this a super useful
non-stick pan. Is it Oven safe? Yes, up to 400°F.
Is it Induction safe? Unfortunately, no. The long handle allows you hold the pan like
a skillet when you need. But, it’s the helper handle that users fall in love with time and
time again. On both, the Sure Grip rubber makes the pan safe in your hand and keeps
the handles cool. When it comes to the base, the heavy aluminum
makes for a solid base and even heating, every single time.
Is it PFOA-free? Yes, entirely. The durable DuPont Autograph 2 nonstick surface
is safe for metal utensils as it’s hard-anodized, and the multiple layers are well-bonded to
the aluminum pan. Is it Dishwasher safe? No, but that’s not
a deal breaker as far as we’re concerned. While lots of manufacturers say their non-stick
pans are dishwasher-safe, it usually negates the warranty. This Anolon pan is specifically
not intended for use in the dishwasher, but you won’t need it anyhow. The 4-quart size is a little more than $75,
while the 5-quart size pushes close to $120. Considering the quality and durability, they’re
worth a lot more. Users believe this pan offers serious value for money.
And for our final pick at number 4 we have the Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Grill
Pan. We’re not sure if there’s anything going against
this non-stick grill pan. It’s large enough to cook a big meal and, time and time again,
the food comes out perfectly, even with those beautiful grill char marks.
As long as you have space to store this large grill pan, you want it – it may even be the
easiest to clean pan in the kitchen, despite the ridges.
Is it Oven safe? Yes, to 450°F. Is it Induction safe? Nope, unfortunately
not. There’s one long, brushed stainless steel
handle which manages to stay cool when used on the stove – and is super comfortable too.
When it comes to the base material, the heavy-gauge 98.7%-pure aluminum is hard-anodized and sturdy
as anything. Is it PFOA-free? Yes.
Inside, you’ll find 3 layers of nonstick coating. The first two are for durability while the
last is truly as non-stick as it gets, which makes it perfect for searing while maintaining
some slip. Calphalon advertises this as being dishwasher-safe,
though hand washing is recommended. Most users find that holding it under the faucet is enough
to release all the food from the ridges. There doesn’t seem to be any reason why you’d
actually need to put this in the dishwasher. The price for this non-stick grill pan does
tend to fluctuate some, but you should be able to pick it up under $40 on most days.
If you see it for less than $30, snag it quickly. So that sums up our top non stick pans of
2020. We hope you enjoyed. If you did please leave a like on the video and if you’re
