Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes – How to Make Creamy Mashed Potatoes | A Sweet Pea Chef

Hey there, Lacey here with “A Sweet Pea Chef”,
and I wanna share with you my favorite mashed potatoes recipe which actually uses a slow
cooker, which makes it one of the easiest sides you’re ever gonna make. So let’s get started. For my mashed potatoes, I use Yukon potatoes
because they tend to be a lot creamier than other potatoes, but you can also use red potatoes
as well. First, we need to cut the potatoes into quarters,
and then add them to the bowl of a slow cooker, along with unsweetened almond milk, low-sodium
chicken broth, sea salt, ground black pepper, and a few whole garlic cloves, and then toss
to combine. No cover and cook for about three to four
hours on high, or six to eight hours on low. When the potatoes are very tender, we’re gonna
mash them directly in the slow cooker to your desired consistency. Next, add in the plain Greek yogurt and grated
Parmesan cheese and season to taste with any additional salt or pepper. We’re gonna place the lid back on the crock-pot
and heat it through for another 15 to 20 minutes before serving. I love how easy and delicious these crock-pot
mashed potatoes are, and especially how the slow cooker does all the work for you. Make sure to download my free guide to clean
eating if you haven’t done so already, and to subscribe to this channel so you never
