Easy Crock Pot Cooking Recipes : Cook Orange Peppermint Tea in a Crock Pot

Hi I’m Chef Ben with Expert Village and today
we are going to be continuing our crock pot series with orange peppermint tea. Very simple
recipe you take 6 quarts of water we have already put into and we have 4 here so we
are going to go ahead and start wit that for about here and we got a 6 quart crock pot.
If you don’t have 6 quart crock pot you just use a little of division. Alright start with
after we do the tea we are going to go ahead and throw in our tea bags which are basic
Lipton ice tea or any brand ice tea that your grocer has just go ahead and dump those in
there. You can do 4,5, or 6 I prefer 6 to have it nice and strong. So you go to 1,2
slice oranges depending on how strong you want your orange flavor to be just go ahead
and drop those in there. Alright and you do 3-4 peppermint sticks where you can pick up
at a candy store or a your grocer should have some. Just go ahead and drop those in there.
Alright cover, set on low, already set and about 4-6 hours you would have your orange
peppermint tea.

I would think that peppermint leaves would work best. One of the benefits of peppermint tea is that it contains no caffeine. The addition of Lipton tea bags would add caffeine unless the tea bags were decafinated.
