How I Wash My Makeup Brushes with a Rice Scooper

Hello! My name is Joan Today I am going to try talking in Korean all throughout! In this video, I will be showing you how I wash my makeup brushes. I use a Rice Scooper! Whenever my friends come over, they ask me why I have a rice scooper by my toothbrush… It’s for my makeup brushes! Gather your makeup brushes and cushion pumps And like I said, I will be using a rice scooper I will start off by squeezing a little bit of my current face wash onto the rice scooper I quickly rinse my brush under warm water And I will start twirling my brush on the rice scooper You’ll start seeing all the makeup… I will finish off by rinsing the brush under warm water And voilà! A clean brush! I do the same for my cushion pumps, but these take forever. Again, I will squeeze some of my face wash onto the rice scooper and start twirling/scrubbing SO. MUCH. MAKEUP…. I squeeze my cushion until I see no more foundation Again, cushion pumps take longer. There is just so much foundation. I’d rather buy new ones, but… You should wash your brushes frequently. It’s annoying, but I try to wash them weekly. It’s a satisfying feeling! If you have any questions or video suggestions, please leave me a comment. And we can talk down there. I’ll see you next time. Bye!

I've seen other videos of this 'topic' and some of the advices for the brushes are.. put something after cleaning the brushes, around the brush so it won't lose the shape of it.. (i hope i explained it well..) i dont remember what is called what they used, i'm sorry.. :c

I never thought to use a rice paddle!! BB Cushion applicators are such a paaaaain to clean.😩😩😩 I usually put a layer of cleanser or detergent(the kind I have is safe to use and it doesn't make my skin irritated), spread it around, and let it set before running it under water. However, I have to do this at least 3+ times because of build-up.😩😣 I think you just made my life easier with this trick though, so thank you!😊

Thanks for this video! Do you recommend using a special brush cleanser or will facial cleanser do? Can you do a video of your most recommended items from innisfree from head to toe if possible? Thank you!

Cleaning with facial foaming cleanser takes alot of effort. I find that the best way to clean the cushion sponge is the double cleanse method using makeup cleansing oil.

Pour some makeup cleansing oil onto the sponge and work it in, then wet with a bit of water to emulsify the oil as one will do with removing their face makeup. Rinse it out with water then do a second cleanse with your foaming cleanser. Try it and let me know if it works 🙂

Rice paddle is such a good idea! ㅋㅋ

  22. Rusty Apple says:

I like to use a silicone face scrubber to help clean my brushes, it works pretty well and doesn't tug at the bristles.

  23. Qiah Zainal Abidin says:

this is such a great useful and cheaper alternative trick! I've never thought of washing the air cushion puffs until recently (because they just look so damn innocent!) and i used an emulsifying oil cleanser and it was so sickkkkkk!! im shocked at how much foundation is in that tiny thing!! it was so gross i mustve spent 30-45 minutes squeezing out product from the edges. and it didnt come out watery because i used oil! so.. I think I'm going to get a new one HAHA!

  24. Kimna Kimna says:

you should use barsoap for the cushion sponge!

  25. Jan H says:
