Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Sushi Rice

Hi I’m Laura Pazzaglia, founder of hip pressure cooking and this is my son, Vittorio. today I’m going to be teaching you how to make sushi Now, most people would think that it’s difficult to find the ingredients to make sushi at home but actually.. we found this great little kit at our grocery store and and that’s what we’re going to use. we’ll have everything we need to make California-style sushi at home using your pressure cooker SUSHI KIT So this is what’s inside my sushi kit We have some Nori A rolling mat that I’m going to show you Beautiful chopsticks Rice Wine Vinegar Some soy sauce our Sushi Ginger our super-spicy wasabi paste our two bags of sushi rice and… instructions! MAKING SUSHI RICE To the pressure cooker, add rinsed sushi rice Add the water and mix well pressure cook and release pressure according to instructions on Add rice wine vinegar mix the rice delicately to incorporate the ricewine vinegar spread rice in an even layer on wooden cutting board or in a wooden bowl and let cool for about 10 minutes MAKING SUSHI prepare all of the needed ingredients lay a sheet of nori on top of the rolling mat cover the nori with rice, leaving the top and bottom edges without rice lay a carrot stick across the midle add cucumber stick next to carrot stick add smoked (or cooked) fish begin rolling by lifting the bottom edge of the rolling mat and tucking in the first part of the nori back into the rice continue rolling pressing ligthly and evenly slice off the ends and set them aside for the chef’s treat slice the roll in somewhat even slices.. when using irregularly shaped food – such as shrimp.. lay it in a pattern that forms a rectangle add veggies.. and roll as described earlier go to to get the recipe!     Best to make sushi from brown rice for optimal nutrition. That takes care in selection of the rice type and adjustment to cooking time.
