Make Turkey Broth In Crock Pot


hi it’s AlaskaGranny did you roast a turkey
and now you have the carcass left over put in a crockpot liner and load your turkey bones and leftovers into a crock pot
put in all of the scraps and the leavings of vegetables onions celery anything you have a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and bay leaves fill the crock pot with filtered water until it’s nearly to
the top and add the magical ingredient that makes the bones release all of their
nutrients is a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar put on then lid set it on low and cook overnight or for a day now you want to check your turkey broth and make sure the bones are soft and
they’ve given all of their nutrients all the vegetables have given their essence
remove all of the solids use a slotted spoon or some tongs to remove large pieces then
strain remainder of your broth you don’t want to save any of the leftovers bones or vegetables
in the broth you’re trying to cook the broth now you have a nice beautiful
turkey broth that you can use it as it is and make any kind of soup you like or freeze
