Nargisi Kofta Recipe by Cooking with Asifa


Today i am preparing nargisi koftay from beef. You can use mutton as well. MInced Beef (1/2 kg) Chopped onion medium size (1) Ginger garlic paste (1 tsp) Grinded roasted chickpeas Chopped green chilies (1 tsp) Coriander Powder (1 tsp) Turmeric Powder (1/3 tsp) Garam Masala powder (1/2 tsp) Fresh mint chopped (4-5 tbsp) Coriander leaves (2 tbsp) Salt (1 tsp) Mix it very well. Add oil(2tbsp) in a pan Fry as many boiled eggs as you like After few minutes of frying your boiled eggs take them out. Grease your palm with oil Spread mince on your palm in round shape Place a boil egg in the center of mince Cover the egg all around with minced beef. Koftay are prepared In a pan, add oil (4-5 tbsp) – frying koftay- on a medium flame Fry until it turns into light golden brown To make gravy, oil should be (1/2 cup) Bay leaf(2) Black cardamom (1) Green cardamom (2) Cloves (5-6) Black pepper (8-10) Cumin ( 1 tsp) Onion(1) paste Fry for 2 minutes. Add ginger garlic paste (2 tsp) stir fry for 2 minutes Tomato (1) med size Tomato paste (1 tbsp) red chili powder ( 1 tsp) Red chili flakes ( 1 tsp) Coriander powder ( 1 tsp) Turmeric powder ( 1.5 tsp) kasouri methi ( 1 tsp) Salt ( 1 tsp) Add water (4-5 tbsp) Flame should be low Cover the pot and cook for 5-6 minutes Fresh cream ( 3 tbsp) Add more water( 1-2 tbsp) Add fried koftay in gravy Stir fry for few minutes Add water (2 cup) Cover the pan & cook for 8-10 minutes Tasty Nargisi Koftay are ready
