WATCH RECIPE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES. COOKING METHOD GIVEN BELOW IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX Hi everyone! Welcome to Saas Bahu Recipes. Today we will be making peri peri chicken. It is an African BBQ dish which has gained popularity in India. First, we need to prepare our peri peri sauce. For which, we need oil red bell pepper 8 to 10 chili bores 2 tablespoons of vinegar finely chopped ginger and garlic 50 grams and 100 grams, respectively. 1 teaspoon soya sauce 1 tablespoon tomato sauce some bay leaves curry leaves 10 – 12 red chilies salt to taste 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chili powder. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder and 1 tablespoon sugar. So lets make our sauce Now, I will be blending red chilies, red bell pepper chili bores and bay leaves. I am adding a little water so that it blends easily. I am taking out all of my paste. I am heating some oil in a pan Now, I am going to add my finely chopped ginger and garlic. We need to cook this until it develops a nice golden brown colour. add some curry leaves. This will give a nice fragrance to our dish. add some ketchup, dark soya sauce and the ground peri peri paste. Now, we are going to add some red chili powder. black pepper Salt to taste vinegar and some sugar. Mix it well. We need to cook this for a few minutes with the lid on. Our peri peri sauce is cooked. We will let sit aside for a couple of minutes so that it’s at room temperature when we cover our chicken with the sauce. we will marinate our chicken now I have taken four leg pieces of skinless chicken I have made some deep cuts to the chicken pieces that the spices can penetrate into the chicken For our first marinate we need some ginger-garlic paste some red chili powder and salt to taste. we will add some lemon juice Now, I am going to massage this into my chicken. Refrigerate it for about half an hour. we will make a second marinate with peri peri sauce we will shallow fry it in a non stick pan after coating with peri peri sauce I have applied the peri peri sauce to my chicken. add some oil and let it heat My chicken is cooked now To enhance the taste of my chicken I am going to give it smokey flavour Burn a piece of charcoal and place it in a bowl. Drizzle some oil over it. and will see smokes coming out of it. Place the lid on the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes. Our chicken is now ready to be served!
