Slimming World chilli con carne recipe


A spicy chilli con carne is a one pot wonder –
easy to make and packed with flavour. Fry the onion and garlic, add the beef and
cook for a few minutes on a high heat. Once your beef is browned, add the chillies
and spices and turn down the heat. Add the peppers, tomatoes and stock and simmer
gently for 15 minutes until the sauce is reduced. Add the kidney beans five minutes before the
end, just to make sure they’re warmed through. Top with a swirl of fat-free fromage frais,
and sprinkle with chopped herbs and paprika, then serve on top of a large jacket

    15 minutes seems an underestimate for the stock to dissolve
